Nationwide Marketing’s PrimeTime! Show Draws 3,300
Buying group event boasts record attendance to earn product rebates, purchased equipment at auction, and listen to motivational speakers.

More than 3,300 dealers and manufacturer representatives from across the country attended PrimeTime!, a buying show and conference for independent dealers, held Feb. 28-March 3 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, according to the buying group.
The sessions focused on motivation and inspiration, highlighted by keynoter Kris Kuester, who encouraged attendees to overcome challenges.

Prime Time! Reports Excellent Attendance At Las Vegas Show

Prime Time! announced that last week over 3,300 dealers and manufacturer representatives from across the country attended PrimeTime!, the largest buying show and conference for independent dealers, at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
At the kickoff event, sand animation artist Mark Demel opened with a spectacular show of light and sand impressions. Then inspirational speaker, Kris Kuester spoke candidly to a crowded room inspiring them to overcome whatever challenges are preventing them from achieving their goals.
“Like Kris, our member dealers will continue to fight and win in business because of their determination, persistence and desire to succeed,” said Robert Weisner, Executive Vice President of Nationwide Marketing Group. “The record attendance at this PrimeTime! event signifies the strength of our membership.”
Kuester later stayed for a reception and returned the following day for a book signing. His book, Redefined, speaks about his journey living with an incurable disease using foundation, faith, focus and grace.
“Nationwide cares about our member dealers, and we understand the importance of thinking out of the box and doing business differently. That is why we bring in nationally known speakers like Kris, who will challenge their ideals and rejuvenate their entrepreneurial spirit.”

WINSTON-SALEM, NC (March 12, 2009) – Last week over 3,300 rent to own and retail dealers as well as manufacturer representatives from across the country attended PrimeTime! by Nationwide, the largest buying show and conference for independent dealers, at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Nationwide Marketing Group is the parent company of RentDirect Nationwide, the rent-to-own industry's largest buying group.
Nearly 850 companies were represented at the 3-day buying show and conference. The 150,000 sq ft, two hall show exhibit stayed busy with new product presentations and lots of power buys. Nationwide's instant rebate program, CashBack Now, saved dealers millions off purchases made at the show. PrimeTime! also hosted two pre-show sales events including the RentDirect Nationwide Hot Show and Furniture Smart Millions in Minutes auction.
"It was a very successful show from start to finish and we could not have done it without the support we have received from our vendor community," said Robert Weisner, Executive Vice President of Nationwide Marketing Group. "They understand that independents have been and will continue to be a strong force taking up more market share in the furniture, appliance and consumer electronics categories."

Kuester, now an ordained pastor, shared his story presenting his program “Living With It.”
Now living with an incurable disease, Kuester shared his story of going through two brain surgeries, making the trip here from his home in Atlanta, Ga.
A crowd of more than 500 took part in this program at the Williston High School Auditorium on a night the Coyotes were playing basketball in the same building.
There’s nothing like home grown talent and it was great to see the community respond with good numbers on hand for Knudsvig and Kuester.

Kris Kuester is coming home to share a personal formula for living.
A 1982 graduate of Williston High School, Kuester makes his way here from his Atlanta, Ga., home for a 7 p.m. appearance on Friday at the WHS Auditorium.
His presentation, entitled “Living With It,” comes from a first-hand experience and he is willing to share with all who take time to listen.
The evening is free to the public, however a free-will offering is being taken. With this now being his full-time occupation, Kuester has teamed with Anthony Burns, who serves as innovation director for the organization.
